Received three-and-a-half-star rating for two consecutive years in the 3rd Nikkei SDGs Management Survey

Topcon received three-and-a-half star rating for two consecutive years in the 3rd Nikkei SDGs Management Survey, which was conducted by Nikkei Inc. to rate companies’ initiatives toward achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The survey is comprised of four areas: SDGs Strategy and Economic Value, Social Value, Environmental Value, and Governance. It has been conducted annually by the Nikkei and is designed to rate companies that align the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations to management of the companies, as well as pursue enhancement of corporate value by solving social, economic, and environmental issues through business activities.
We received a four-star rating in the areas of SDGs Strategy and Economic Value, and Governance.

Our Corporate Identity of “Topcon contributes to enrich human life by solving the societal challenges within healthcare, agriculture and infrastructure” is directly linked to the concept of SDGs.

We will continue to contribute to development of sustainable society and enrichment of human life in the fields of healthcare, agriculture and infrastructure.
