*1What is the “Fair Trade Workplace” registration system?
This system is a certification program designed for companies that consistently offer or use fairtrade certified products and actively promote the awareness of “fairtrade” both internally and externally. It was established in July 2024 by the certified non-profit organization Fairtrade Label Japan, a National Fairtrade Organization member of Fairtrade International. The program aims to honor domestic companies that utilize Fairtrade products and encourage them to contribute to producer countries and create a positive social impact through their business activities.
