The Japanese government participated in activities for the development and utilization of electronic control points in Thailand through JICA’s technical cooperation project. Thailand is facing a serious social issue of labor shortages in the civil engineering and construction industries due to rapid aging. The Thai government is promoting the automation of practical work.

Topcon has demonstrated the benefits of establishing and utilizing electronic reference points through proof-of-concept experiments and seminars related to high-precision surveying, ICT construction, and smart agriculture, utilizing high-precision positioning data and 3D data in the fields of surveying, construction, and agriculture.
