Topcon Corporation, (Headquarters: Itabashi, Tokyo Japan; President and CEO: Satoshi Hirano) announced the foundation of a newly created company, Topcon Positioning Asia (Headquarters: Itabashi, Tokyo Japan), which will serve the Asian markets in the positioning business.

This company is going to reform our classified current business structure that is financially independent in each Asian region. Additionally, it is an effort to manage and expand Geopositioning, Construction, Agriculture business in Asia including Japan and the Middle East horizontally.

Economy growth in Asia is around 5% steadily and the Asian economy is becoming a center of economic growth in the world. Various investments towards infrastructure development have been planned and sustainable growth can be expected. Construction and Agriculture are “Essential Businesses,” therefore we propose our solution based on the regional basic needs as well as requirements from end-users even under the crucial COVID-19 pandemic situation.

From the Topcon “Automation in Agriculture” and “Automation in Construction” efforts in the European, U.S., and Japanese markets, the company can expect more demands for quality and productivity improvements.
