Topcon Precision Agriculture launches ‘Spirit of Agriculture’ photo contest

July 17, 2012

Topcon Precision Agriculture (TPA) announces the “Spirit of Agriculture” photo contest – an invitation to participants around the world to share photographs that illustrate what the ‘spirit of agriculture’ means to them.

“TPA is committed to engineering new technologies to advance precision agriculture around the globe and we know farming is more than a ‘profession,’ it is a way of life. We want to provide a stage to feature that ‘spirit’ – through this photo contest – and we invite those in the farm market to share their photos,” said Joe Robertson, TPA product marketing manager.
“We want to see farm families, crops, antique equipment, kids and animals, anything that captures the essence of farming and as we are a global company, we are excited to see how this might be seen differently in different parts of the world.”
Information on how to enter, rules and other information can be found at www.topconspiritofagriculture.com. Submissions may be uploaded to the Topcon Precision Agriculture Facebook page or emailed to stayconnected@topcon.com. The contest will run through August 15 and winning entries, receiving cash prizes, will be announced via Facebook, Twitter and the Topcon Spirit of Agriculture website on Monday, August 27.
